VMP mRNA Animation Wins “Best Experimental/Animation Film” Award at 2022 SCINEMA International Film Festival
SCINEMA is the largest science film festival in the southern hemisphere and is “a celebration of the power of the moving image to inspire the young, satisfy the curious, explain the baffling and ask the impossible.”
The Vaccine Makers Project animation, “How COVID-19 mRNA Vaccines Work,” won Best Experimental/Animation Film at the 2022 SCINEMA festival. The animation takes viewers inside a cell to watch how the coronavirus mRNA vaccine trains our immune system to protect us during future encounters with SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19.
