HILLEMAN at McGill University

The McGill Office for Science and Society held a screening of the film HILLEMAN – A Perilous Quest to Save the World’s Children in the Cinema du Parc 3575 Av du Parc, Montreal on April 18, 2017, at 7:00 p.m. The screening was followed by a discussion session.  The McGill Office for Science and Society (OSS) is a unique venture dedicated to the promotion of critical thinking and the presentation of scientific information to the public, educators and students in an accurate and responsible fashion.  The OSS answers queries from the public and the media on scientific matters with a view towards separating fact from fiction.  OSS staffers offer a variety of educational and entertaining presentations on scientific topics, appear often on radio and television, produce books and newspaper columns, and oversee a number of courses designed to provide a scientific basis for the evaluation of controversial issues.  The OSS also undertakes the investigation of potentially fraudulent products and therapies.
